Do I need a referral?

You do not need a referral for a physical therapy evaluation as Texas is a direct access state. You will need a signed plan of care within 10 days of starting treatment and we will assist you with this process by sending your evaluation to your preferred provider for their signature. Physicians, nurse practitioners, midwives, acupuncturists and chiropractors can all sign. You do not need permission by your provider to initiate physical therapy! If you have a concern or are in pain, we can get started right away! Your doctor may prescribe 4 sessions per week x 8 weeks, but that is NOT necessary with our model of care. Our patients see results after the first session and reach their goals in 3-6 sessions/weeks. Full list of offerings and rates listed on the booking website.

What can I expect?

You can expect to be heard, seen and cared for at every session. Every session will be one-on-one with me. Expect to spend 60-minutes at your initial evaluation, and 45-60 minutes at your follow up visits. Each session will include a combination of full body assessment, manual hands on therapy, therapeutic corrective exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and patient education on how to supplement treatment while at home. You will be sent a personalized exercise program after each session to continue your progress towards your goals at home. Please wear comfortable clothes you can move in. The initial session will include movement and treatment. Most of our clients are seen 1x/week or every other week in person with home exercises and tools given to perform in between each session. You will have unlimited text/email support from us throughout your plan of care.

Can I bring my children?

YES! We encourage you to bring your sweet babies and older kiddos because we understand the struggle of finding time for appointments. Our clinic is very child friendly complete with toys and a private feeding/nursing area. We also understand if you’d like to come alone to your appointments.

Is it too soon or too late for me to start?

It is never too early or too late to address your concerns. Most birth providers “clear” you to return to exercise at 6 weeks post baby; however, we can start working together much sooner if you are in pain or are dealing with dysfunction by gently re connecting to your core and body. We treat all women at all seasons of life and can address your symptoms even if they’ve been a part of your life for a decade. We can address your pain or dysfunction at any point during your pregnancy and can start preparing for birth during any trimester.

Do you accept insurance?

We are an out-of-network provider in order to provide high-quality, one-on-one care. Our therapists work for you to reach your unique goals. We do not work for your insurance company who often dictates the quality and quantity we can provide in a traditional insurance-based model. We accept credit card, FSA and HSA cards for payment. Payment is due at time of service with a card on file through our secure electronic payment system. Unfortunately, as a fee for service provider we are unable to treat any patients who have Medicare as their primary insurance due to current Medicare laws. If you have Medicare and are in need of a Pelvic PT, please contact our office and we will connect you with a provider in the Medicare network.

Do you provide home PT visits?

Yes! We will travel to your home (within our travel radius listed on the contact page) as long as you are in the “Fourth Trimester” meaning you are 3 months postpartum or less. Please schedule an initial evaluation home visit before scheduling your follow up visits. You are welcome to choose a home initial evaluation and then choose to come into clinic with or without baby at a later time. We want to make it easier to access the care you need during this special, vulnerable time.
